This episode explores how the REFINE trial aims to improve the use of immunotherapy to treat cancer. 
 
Sophie Merrick, a Clinical Fellow from the MRC CTU at UCL, talks about the challenges of using immunotherapy drugs and how REFINE is testing whether giving these drugs less frequently can still treat the cancer effectively whilst improving the quality of life for patients. She also discusses OPTIC, a study looking at patients’ views on changing the way we give immunotherapy.
